Refrigerator Stories: A Search for Home

About the show

Refrigerator Stories: A Search for Home is a new solo show with music by Jos Dirkx, with music by Emmy-winning composer Sacha Hoedemaker. A show about growing up between cultures, a voice that disappeared and came back, and love turning up where you least dared expect it.

The 2026 workshop performances will be the first time the complete show is performed for live audiences, followed by a short conversation with the makers in select venues. The premiere will take place in 2027.

Speaker, Writer, Performer & Producer

Jos Dirkx is a global keynote speaker, author, artist and founder. Raised across fifteen countries, her creative work explores identity, belonging, and the myth of fitting in.

Sacha Hoedemaker

Music Production & Live Music

Sacha Hoedemaker is an Emmy-winning composer and pianist known for his work in improv theatre, his work with Dr. Peacock, and his piano compositions.
